Fresh track

Moving 17 tons of Stuart tank can be a difficult process.  Moving one with worn out track is even worse!  B5 was really needing some new shoes, so we reconditioned a set!  Lots of manual labor involved.  Some neat tools and some heavy equipment you won't have are required.  Take a preview of the project now!

Wanted: G-527 water trailer

The unit is seeking a WWII water trailer.  Sometimes called a water buffalo, the army's designation was G-527.  This is the WW2 version.  If you have one and would like it to have a new home where people will see it, it will be used and appreciated, and/or restored and maintained send us a message.

Mission Statement

The 14th Armored Re-Creations is dedicated to the preservation and operation of vintage military vehicles.

The Tank Barn

We are based just outside of Shepherdsville, KY.  The primary facility is called the tank barn.  At this location we restore tanks, trucks, jeeps, half tracks, even a LVT.  Every Tuesday night is Tank Night at the tank barn, we get together on a weekly basis and work on whatever project is next.  Usually there is plenty to do.

The Hardware

Check out the Collection tab to see the equipment!
